Two years ago, MOONDROP released the M4P-MTM passive monitor speaker, targeting professional monitoring scenarios. Now, the MM3A adopts a new design philosophy, shifting from a professional single-purpose tool to multi-scenario, multi-mode usage, catering to both desktop HiFi and daily entertainment needs. [1]
The MM3A features an innovative driver configuration: a 0.65-inch silk dome tweeter for smooth high-frequency extension; a 3-inch aluminum concave cone mid-bass driver optimized for midrange coherence; and dual horizontally opposed 3-inch passive radiators to enhance low-frequency extension and dynamic performance. This combination allows the drivers to work together closely, achieving acoustic performance beyond the limitations of its compact size. [1]
The bass driver employs a hidden reverse-R surround design paired with an integrated aluminum concave cone. Inside, two N52 neodymium magnets are used, all encapsulated in a U-shaped yoke to ensure the voice coil operates stably and efficiently within the linear range of the magnetic circuit. The surround is made of NBR rubber, and the spider uses DuPont CONEX material to improve fatigue resistance and durability. [1]
The MM3A is equipped with five working modes to adapt to different usage scenarios, though specific mode details have not yet been disclosed by the official.
