Samsung is developing a headset called the Galaxy H1, which is seen as its direct response to Apple's AirPods Max. According to foreign media SoundGuys, the headset will feature advanced functions such as touch controls and head tracking, and will support multiple active noise cancellation (ANC) modes, including a practical "Conversation Mode." In the current high-end over-ear headphone market, Apple's AirPods Max holds a position with its spatial audio and elegant design. The unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy H1 indicates that the South Korean tech giant hopes to compete head-on with Apple in this field. From leaked information, the Galaxy H1 is highly targeted in its feature configuration, particularly attempting to differentiate itself in human-machine interaction and noise-canceling experience. In terms of specific specifications, the Galaxy H1 will feature touch controls, allowing users to quickly manage music playback or answer calls through gestures. The head tracking function will make the sound direction change with the user's head movements, creating an immersive feel. Additionally, the headset will have multiple ANC modes, among which the "Conversation Mode" can automatically lower music volume and enhance human voice when the user speaks, facilitating brief conversations. Samsung has not yet announced the pricing, release date, or specific technical parameters for the Galaxy H1. Judging from its functional positioning, it is likely to target the price range of 4,499 yuan for the AirPods Max. The combination of touch controls and head tracking, along with contextual noise-canceling modes, may become the core highlights to attract consumers. More details are yet to be disclosed by Samsung officially. [1]
